Punkrockbands doing coverversions of popsongs... been there, done that.
DAVE & MIGHTY turn the table. Both, grown up in the punkrockscene of Bielefeld, take their favourite songs from bands like Bad Religon, NoFx, Millencolin and the like and transfer it into 90ies Eurodance-Style.
On the debut 7“, that will be released by Kapitän Platte in October, it is „American Jesus“ by Bad Religion and „Lori Meyers“ by NoFX.
Of course DAVE & MIGHTY are doing that with a wink, but musically they're definitely playing in the same league with Aqua, Ace of Base or Culture Beat.

The 7“ comes in a silkscreen sleeve you can open fan-shaped and is limited to 500 copies. First 100 on colored vinyl.
